At-Taq of the Clones: @ZDoggMD Beware!

in #HCSM/#MedEd by

So you thought that science communication was all droll and boring lectures by nerdy looking professors who spout big words which work better than any sleeping pills man has made till date? Well, I am sure your fears had been dispelled by the awesome ZDoggMD and crew. I was also limited to his brand of awesomeness, until, cruising around the interwebs, I stumbled onto the pearls of genius.

First, let me present, science rapper Alpine Kat who talks of the Large Hadron Collider. This rap video is filmed on the most expensive location for any music video ever. While the bosses at CERN were initially rather skeptical about the whole show, they had to bend their will to the awesomeness of the whole rap show. After all, I can’t be the only one who plans to set the LHC chorus as their phone caller tune!

The Kat is outta the Bag!

If however, Physics does not shake up your thang, and you are on the Biology side of nerd force, then, this awesome take (?Taq) on Taq polymerase makes for awesome listening. While this is a tad bit more technical and jargon-ey, yet, it is a simply awesome bit of musical science at work.

I’m Taq-en!

Its so coo, na?
